"Saving and Changing Lives." Sunlight Home is a long-term residential shelter for homeless "at risk" pregnant women and teens where the residents can work toward a more positive future, free from poverty and abuse. Our facility is open to pregnant women and teenagers regardless of race, color or creed. We provide a long-term residential Program that rehabilitates "at risk" pregnant women and teens, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and abuse, through education, counseling, job training, career counseling and life and parenting skills. It is a place for the pregnant mother to be renewed spiritually, physically and psychologically to recognize her potential as she decides what is best for herself and her baby in the years ahead. We support parenting and present adoption as a loving alternative. Our goal is a positive outcome for each mother and her baby to live a productive life with financial independence and the ability to assimilate back into society.
